Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Girilambone Public School, a supportive and inclusive rural learning community where every student is valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Located in the heart of the farming and mining lands of the Wangaaypuwan Ngiyampaa people, our school proudly serves the families of Girilambone and surrounding areas.
We are a small, close-knit school with students from Kindergarten to Year 6, along with b4-Kindy students. This size allows us to create a highly personalised learning environment where each child is known and supported. Our dedicated staff focus on building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, creativity, and resilience, ensuring that students develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive both now and into the future.
At Girilambone, we believe in fostering respect, responsibility, and a strong sense of community. We work closely with families and local community members to create meaningful partnerships that enrich student wellbeing and learning opportunities. Our commitment is to provide engaging, purposeful programs that inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
We are proud of our welcoming environment and celebrate the diversity and strengths within our school community. Together, we strive to empower our students to become confident, capable learners ready to contribute positively towards a better world.
